becoming familiar with urban nature

katharinajej roams through the city of Detmold and makes physical contact with urban nature. She hugs hedges that border properties, she lies down on the grass of a traffic island, or she touches dandelion leaves that grow out of gaps in the asphalt. In every situation, she lingers for a longer period of time. In this way, she becomes a living sculpture in urban space. The performance invites the passers-by to question the relationship between man and urban nature.
