katharinajej has lived in Cologne for many years. When she is out and about in the city, there are a few places she prefers to avoid. These are places she finds unpleasant. Her friends and acquaintances feel the same way. katharinajej asks them about the places they consider most dangerous in Cologne. These are Wiener Platz, Breslauer Platz, Ebertplatz, and Josef-Haubrich-Hof near Neumarkt.
katharinajej puts on a red coat, fills a wicker basket with coffee, tea, and cookies, and sets off for the places in question. Under her Little Red Riding Hood coat, she carries stories with her, about danger, about what to expect, about what could happen.
Once she is on site, she looks around and makes contact with people.
katharinajej documents the encounters in writing. In the diary-like texts, the conversations with the people are interwoven with her observations, feelings, and biography. Wearing her red coat, she reads the texts aloud near the places she visited.
