katharinajej roams through the city of Detmold and makes physical contact with urban nature. She hugs hedges that border properties and lies down on the grass of a traffic island. Or with her hands she touches dandelion leaves that grow out of gaps in the asphalt. She lingers for a long time in these moments to connect with nature. In this way, she becomes a living sculpture in the urban space. In doing so, she draws the attention of passers-by to the relationship between man and urban nature. The unusually tender interaction encourages people to question the existing relationship.
