Once, Buenos Aires, Argentinia, at the end of March 2016 whilst researching performances for the self-organized "Performance At Home Festival" katharinajej placed the private bed at the pavement in the opposite of her home. The quarter Once is blamed as one of the most dangerous ones in Buenos Aires. In front of the bed she puts a sign saying: "Share a dream with me. Please enter without shoes." In Spanish a dream signifies sleep as well as ambition.

... right after installing the bed a neighbour was angry about me blocking the space. He was worried that his boss could not like it because the clients cannot pass easily. When his boss appeared and was amused about the situation, he calmed down but stayed to observe the situation. People were passing and rushing by. I noticed their fast speed and rhythm. It seemed to me as if they do not see me and the bed. Just some took a small glimpse after having already passed, looking back, smiling. I felt cosy and relaxed in the bed, but in the same time fragile and at the mery of my environment. Starting to think that no one takes the chance to lay down with me, suddenly Gina put off her shoes and layed down with me. She lives not far from here. Sharing with me the blanket for a long time she told me of her dream to become an editor and to create a home for animals. Walter, with few teeth and strong bodysmell, a youngster from the neighbourhood also came by and sat down at the bed to tell me first that his dream is to rob a bank and then that he actually wants to become a futbol player...
